falling in love with a city

Yesterday I arrived in Madrid, after being terrified that my bags were lost because it took thirty minutes for them to show up, I got really excited. I guess I should back up a step or two. I drove to San Francisco with my dad and we went to Bubba Gump Shrimp for dinner and it was really nice to just sit there and talk to him while having an amazing view of the water from Pier 39. He took me to the airport and it was a hard goodbye, but I was ready to start my adventure. The flight from San Francisco to Houston was fast, but then spent the next 9 hours in the Houston airport. That place is HUGE! i walked around for hours getting lost until my feet were tired, sleeping in random corners and then finally I got a pedicure. haha. I guess layovers are an excuse since I had nothing else to do.
